Find Fulton County Recent Arrests

Fulton County recent arrests show up first on the county-linked jail roster. That roster splits the picture into live views. One covers new bookings. Another shows people in custody right now, and a third lists the latest releases. Want to know who was arrested in Fulton County? Start with those booking views. Then turn to the court record for what happened after the arrest. Both halves matter here: tracking fresh arrests and pulling the booking record behind each one.

Following Fulton County Recent Arrests

Fulton County routes the public to its jail data through a single hub. The Fulton County Inmate Roster page leads to an RPS/Relativity portal titled "Fulton County Sheriffs Office, Jail Roster." It is live custody views, not a permanent arrest archive. New Inmates covers fresh bookings. Its window spans the last 48 hours. Current Inmates shows everyone held in county custody at the moment. Recent Releases covers the past 48 hours of releases. The sheriff publishes no refresh schedule. Data-entry lag can hide a new arrest for a time.

Arrested Today takes the narrowest angle: the newest bookings. Arrest Reports goes wider, pairing a multi-day blotter with historical sources. Neither page changes the portal's 48-hour labels. The county's roster landing page shows where Fulton sends the public for its jail source.

Arrested Last Night in Fulton County

An overnight arrest in Fulton County calls for a set order of checks. Start with New Inmates. Its window spans 48 hours, not a single calendar day. A missing name there does not end things. Check Current Inmates next, since processing can lag behind the arrest itself. Recent Releases helps when bond, a transfer, or a release already happened. The Arrested Today guide details the same-day search. Free custody alerts come through the VINE Arrest Check. A missing name still proves little. The person may have been cited, booked elsewhere, released outside the display window, handled as a juvenile, or shielded by law. The official New Inmates view labels its real booking window.

The tab's own heading sets the date range. Treat it as the authority on what the view covers. Nothing about it promises a rolling 24-hour feed. Anyone quoting an exact one-day window is reading the label wrong.

The Fulton County Jail Roster

Current Inmates is the fullest live view of county custody. It lists everyone the jail holds now, with sorting by Arrested Date or Name. Page-size controls are built in. Entry counts shift constantly. The Arkansas Sheriffs' Association lists the jail's address: 451 N Main Street, Salem, AR 72576. The jail phone is 870-895-2602. Capacity figures stay source-sensitive. Historical USDA material traces the move from a very small older facility to the Salem detention-center project around 2013. Capacity numbers still vary by source and date.

Roster control or fieldHow to use it
Arrested Date sortBring newer intake timestamps together; the timestamp may reflect processing rather than incident time.
Name sortCheck a known person while matching spelling and identity carefully.
Current / New / Released tabsSeparate present custody, new 48-hour bookings and 48-hour releases.
Entry detailsRead agency, exact charge wording, bond, court date and court name as changeable source fields.
Image linkOpen only for identity verification; availability is neither universal nor permanent.
  1. Open the county landing page, then its linked roster.
  2. Select the tab matching the custody question.
  3. Sort by arrest date or name and open the relevant entry.
  4. Record the timestamp, agency, charge text, bond, and court fields exactly.
  5. Verify later case status through the court docket rather than the jail page.

Fulton publishes no written policy on photo retention, update timing, or archive depth. So a person can roll out of New Inmates, drop off Current Inmates after release, and vanish from Recent Releases while the booking record still exists. The paper trail outlives the web views. The vendor's RPS Inmate Info app puts the roster on Apple and Google phones. It is not a separate sheriff publication. No different accuracy or photo policy comes with it.

Fulton's public-documents area holds governance material, not arrest PDFs. Arkansas Arrests offers statewide navigation but no dedicated Fulton County, Arkansas page. Mugshots.com lists no local Fulton section. Mugshots.zone has none either. And never swap in Fulton County, Georgia material by mistake.

Recent Arrests by City

None of the three cities publishes a daily police arrest log. That leaves the Fulton jail roster as the main public trail for city arrests. Municipal citations and releases without county detention may never appear there at all. Cherokee Village complicates things. The city straddles the Fulton–Sharp line. Its arrestees may sit in either county's jail. Fulton-side criminal and traffic cases land in Sharp County District Court. Searching both counties is the only safe habit.

What a Fulton County Arrest Record Shows

A booking record is the jail's intake-side account of an arrest, and its fields shift by tab and entry. Names alone make weak matches. Pair them with a booking date or age. Note: the locality shown in an entry is a value from the booking form, not a verified current address.

FieldWhat it shows and does not show
Name and descriptorsPortal-formatted name, race, sex and age; descriptors aid matching but are not conclusions.
Photo/imageBooking identity image when posted, never evidence of guilt.
Arrest date/time and agencyRecorded intake timing and displayed arresting agency, not necessarily incident time.
Booking numberAn internal identifier that may not appear consistently in top-level text; request it if needed.
ChargesCharges as booked, not convictions or final counts.
BondAmount/status shown at that moment; it can change by payment, condition, or court order.
Court date and courtScheduled information that must be confirmed because settings can change.
Release timeExit from the listed custody state, not dismissal or acquittal.
Booked versus released: “booked” records intake; “current” reports present roster status; “released” reports departure from custody. None answers whether prosecutors filed a case or how a judge resolved it.

Fulton County Mugshots and Booking Photos

Entries in all three live views carry image links. No county policy promises a photo for every person. Nothing sets a fixed upload time or permanent display. A booking photograph exists to identify a person during intake. When an expected county photo is missing, go to the source. Ask the jail or sheriff for the booking record. Give the name, the approximate date, and the record you want. A custodian may withhold exempt material, including juvenile identifying information that stays confidential. Third-party pages like RecentlyBooked or Busted Newspaper are unofficial copies. They can be incomplete, stale, or simply wrong. The Arkansas Department of Corrections locator covers state custody, not ordinary county bookings. Its public search text shows no photo field. Do not count on an ADC image appearing.

How to Obtain a Fulton County Arrest Record

  1. Save the official roster URL and record the exact name, booking or arrest date, agency, and booking number if shown.
  2. Describe the item precisely: jail log, booking sheet, booking photograph, release record, or arrest report. A city police report belongs with the municipal department; a county-jail booking belongs with the sheriff/jail.
  3. Contact the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department at 451 N Main Street, Salem, AR 72576, general line 870-895-2601 or jail 870-895-2602. Ask the custodian how to submit the current written request.
  4. Cite the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act as appropriate and request an itemized estimate before reproduction.
  5. For case filings and disposition, use Search ARCourts or contact the Fulton County and Circuit Clerk at 123 S Main Street, Salem, 870-895-3310.

Fulton publishes no booking-photo fee schedule. Arkansas FOIA caps copying charges at actual reproduction or transmission cost, and above $25 the custodian may require an advance estimate. The law does not support inventing a generalized labor fee for an existing record. Ask the custodian for the exact quote. Timing also varies. A record may be at hand, in active use, or sitting in storage, and some materials are legally exempt. Same-day delivery is never a promise.

Correction, private-site removal, and sealing are separate processes. Fix inaccurate source data with the custodian first. Ark. Code § 4-75-102 steps in here. A covered publisher that displays a booking photo and demands payment for removal must give owner and contact details plus a free written removal route, with takedown within five business days of a qualifying request. Keep copies of everything. Never pay a removal middleman. Sealing or expungement runs through the courts with the disposition-specific ACIC form, and ACIC allows up to 30 days of processing after it receives the order. A stale-search-result tool can refresh search display after a source correction, but no tool erases government or court records.

Arrest Records and Arkansas Law

Arkansas law shapes what any requester can see. The Arkansas Attorney General's FOIA guidance is the official starting point for access rules. Access has limits. Juvenile detention and identifying records stay generally confidential under Ark. Code § 9-27-309, subject to exceptions. Sealed matters, protected-victim information, and investigative exemptions can also block disclosure.

Display is not retention. Ark. Code § 13-4-404 includes jail detention logs, fingerprint cards and booking photographs in a 30-year county retention schedule, with statutory disposal procedures afterward. It does not require the live website to display an image for 30 years. Ark. Code § 4-75-102 addresses covered private pay-to-remove publication conduct; it is not blanket erasure of an official record.

Older Fulton County arrest records follow a different trail. Start with the sheriff and the county clerk. Their offices hold the books that never left local hands. Records that moved elsewhere end up in the Arkansas State Archives, which tracks transferred county series and microfilm. Digitized material sits in the Arkansas Digital Archives instead. The Archives list no modern Fulton booking photos among these holdings; the old Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation collection covers 1931–1933 and serves as history, not a current mugshot source. For the route historical and transferred public records take, the State Archives records-preservation page lays it out.

Arkansas State Archives government records preservation information page

This path matters last. Check the county custodian first. Check the modern court systems too. Only then dig into older arrest material.

Warrants and Fulton County’s Most-Wanted Status

The Fulton County Sheriff lists no active-warrant portal. No county-only most-wanted list exists. Nor is there a published update cadence, reward program, tip portal, or wanted-photo gallery. The county public-documents page is no blotter or wanted archive. Ozark Radio News runs a regional Most Wanted category. It spans multiple localities, so it is not the sheriff's Fulton list. Search ARCourts can show an underlying case. It may also reveal a failure-to-appear event. Yet a docket is not real-time proof that a warrant remains active. Confirm with the issuing court or the clerk. An attorney can help too. The sheriff's general line is 870-895-2601. County court material says a missed appearance can bring a failure-to-appear warrant. It can also bring a suspended license. Resolve that through the issuing authority. Never approach someone believed to be wanted. Call 911 for immediate danger. Use a currently published nonemergency channel for other information.

After the Arrest: Court Dates and Dispositions

Arraignment is the first appearance in Fulton District Court. There the court addresses the charge and the plea process. Bond and later settings may change. The jail's court date is a lead, not the final calendar. Verify it through Search ARCourts or the clerk. Continuances, amended charges, dismissals, nolle prosequi, diversion, pleas, trials, and acquittals all belong to the court record, and a release timestamp answers only when county custody ended.

Why disposition matters: an arrest headline or roster entry can remain visible after a charge changes or ends without conviction. The docket, not a mugshot, aggregator profile, or old news story, is the appropriate source for the result.

Arkansas DPS crime statistics give Fulton-specific Group B contributor counts by agency. The sheriff and Salem Police both appear. It is a narrow reporting category. The numbers are not jail bookings, so they prove no arrest trend and will not reconcile with the live roster.

Precisely labeled 2024 statistic: the Arkansas DPS Arrest By Contributor report lists a Fulton County adult Group B total of 197 and juvenile Group B total of 7. Within that narrow table, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office contributed 135 adult and 4 juvenile Group B arrests; Salem Police contributed 62 adult and 3 juvenile; Mammoth Spring Police showed zero adult Group B arrests. These are contributor counts for Group B offenses, not all arrests, all bookings, unique people, convictions, or a measure of current jail population.

Comparing an annual report with the live roster? The two datasets measure different things. One groups agency submissions by reporting category. The other shows custody entries that shift as people are booked and released in Fulton County. A person can generate a law-enforcement record without ever being housed at Fulton County Jail. A jail entry can span multiple dates. Neither source says how many people were arrested "today," whether crime rose, or whether a city's reporting was complete.

Why can an older arrest remain on Current Inmates? The current tab is organized around custody, not one uniform date window. Someone booked before the New Inmates cutoff can stay visible while still detained. The reverse happens too. A quick release can pull a person from Current Inmates into Recent Releases briefly, and since Fulton promises no bond-out timing, check bond conditions, payments, court orders, and release timing with the right custodian.

State Prison and Federal Custody

County jail rosters only go so far. Once a person leaves local custody, the search has to follow the system holding them. For state prison, the Arkansas Division of Correction search is the right tool. Enter an ADC number to pull a match. Or narrow by name, county, facility, gender, offense category, age and race. Keep in mind what it shows. State custody means a sentence or transfer has already happened, so a fresh Fulton County arrest will not appear here. The tool does not display booking photos either. For that difference, see the booking-photo explanation.

Federal custody works differently. The Federal Bureau of Prisons locator tracks federal inmates back to 1982, though it shows no photos. Immigration holds call for the ICE Online Detainee Locator, which needs an A-number and country of birth or exact identity details. Minors and many local detainees are outside its reach. The U.S. Marshals Service publishes no public roster specific to Fulton County. And remember that a miss in one locator only rules out that one slice of custody.

To connect an arrest record to a case as it moves forward, the Search ARCourts interface is the official bridge.

Official Search ARCourts public case information interface

Use these details with care. Names can repeat across cases. Confirm the person with the right clerk. Then confirm current settings too.
